Vice President of Corporate Services
Dan Wall serves in the role of Vice President for Corporate Services. In this capacity, Mr. Wall is responsible for managing CMA’s critical support services; including Human Resources, Legal and Contract Management, Recruitment, Proposal Management and Marketing and Corporate Communications. He works to develop a unified framework for the efficient and effective operation of CMA’s organization.
Mr. Wall has served as an advisor to Corporations, Boards and State and Local governments for over twenty-five years. A former Commissioner of New York State’s Civil Service Department and President of the New York State Civil Service Commission, he has been recognized for a number of award-winning initiatives that improved and modernized the state’s human resource system.
Serving entities in a variety of capacities, including General Counsel, labor lawyer, arbitrator, mediator, author and adjunct professor, he has developed a keen understanding of the challenges confronting both Government and Business. He is a contributing author for a number of books and publications, including, most recently, Leadership Secrets of Human Resource Professionals.
Mr. Wall is a former Secretary/Treasurer of the National Association of State Personnel Executives, a member of Empire State College’s College Council, and President and Founder of Capitol Consulting a Business and Environmental Consulting entity. He holds a Juris Doctorate from St John’s School of Law, and is certified as a Human Resources Professional from Cornell University and the International Personnel Management Association – HR (IPMA-HR).
