CMA Representatives Attend Launch of Veteran Connect Center

CMA Vice President Gary Davis and Director of Team Recruitment James Hughes attended the April 10 launch of the Veteran Connect Center.

The Center for Economic Growth’s Veteran Connect Center (VCC) serves those who have served us by connecting Veterans and their families to career, educational, and community resources. The Center provides programming and information to businesses and institutions in New York’s Capital Region interested in hiring, educating and supporting our Veterans.

“CMA is extremely proud and very honored to be a part of such a tremendous program in support of our Veterans and their families.  CMA stands ready to assist our military personnel in transitioning to the civilian workforce and by providing potential paths to successful careers,” said Hughes.

There are more than 64,000 veterans in the Capital Region*.  The CEG created the VCC to be the first point of contact for transitioning service members. They honor the service and sacrifice of all honorably discharged veterans from all eras. Including, veterans still serving in the active duty, National Guard and Reserve components.

Beyond recognizing the benefit of hiring veterans, CMA aims to contribute to the Center’s data analytics and workforce management. As a solution provider in both those areas, CMA wishes to leverage our experience and partnerships. Tableau is one of CMA’s partner’s in this area, and they also have a strong commitment to Veterans’ Affairs.
